Gaming is in the Air... this is the season for .....gaming! This reference is from the NLII Annual meeting: Brian Winn, Carrie Heeter and Philip Dickson led a wonderful, interactive session entitled "What can higher education learn from gaming?" I thoroughly enjoyed the session, finding it very interactive, compelling and, well... fun. The website is a wealth of resources including a link to the powerpoint slides from the session. I really enjoyed the final interactive exercise where my two partners and I imagined and then laid out the design for the next hit educational game 'Journey to the Centre of the Cell'. Any takers?
