I have been playing with Tinderbox on and off and am quite anxious to start to use it to edit a blog. I love the idea of the program - being able to compartmentalise thoughts in notes and make extensive links between them and other information sources. Tinderbox also allows me to graphically display notes (or clusters of notes). I love the fact that it is a Mac program and the creator seems to be very supportive of the program, the Mac programming community and hypertexting in general. My only problem is that I have not had the patience (or is it the time?) to figure how to do much more than to use it a simple repository for a number of semi-connected thoughts. I have been using it to document my year (I was very fortunate to get a fellowship with the NLII for 2004), but that document is currently a mass of unorgansied random notes. When I first got Tinderbox, I managed to post to my Radio weblog but have since forgotten how to do it (it is useful to know that it is possible and fairly easy). I have also been using Tinderbox for another blog - and I like the look + feel of both the authoring environment and the blog. I think I would like to switch to something new. If this note makes it to radio.weblogs.com/0100115 you will know that I have been successful. I have not yet had success in posting to different categories (one of the best parts of Radio Userland), but this is high on the todo list. 9:52:11 PM | # | | trackback []

If you have some unscheduled time you might want to check this out! (I managed to kill about 15 minutes when I noticed this application earlier this morning). This site analyses and graphically compares searches on Google and Yahoo. (just for run I ran my name - only to find that Evil Twin Cyprien is the number one Cyp). I like the interface - simple, engaging and you can figure it out immediately! 1:30:11 PM | # | | trackback []
