Tinderbox revisited Tinderbox is one of the more enigmatic programs on my Mac. I use it primarily for my reflective note taking and it serves as my muddled repository for random thoughts. Particularly useful is its excellent search engine. I also love the outlining features of Tinderbox (outliners nicely fit how I work and think). I have not yet been able to get good use out of the visualisation, or mapping capabilities (which are some of the most exciting parts of the program). I am waiting for a good couple of hours to hammer this out. Ted Goranson writes an ongoing 'outliner' column and devotes the October entry to Tinderbox, describing it in this way: 'Shocker of shockers: in this(outliner) mode, Tinderbox is the most powerful outliner available by many measures'. A good overview! 10:31:50 AM | # | | trackback []
