Flickr.

My new favourite educational tool.

Like many, I have been using Flickr to share photos with friends, family and even total strangers. Flickr provides the right amount (and right kind of) payoff for using it. The payoff is social and includes the elusive shared experience.

But I am impressed with Flickr for a number of other reasons. It has become my workhorse application serving as the repository for the images that I incorporate into many aspects of my daily life. One particularly compelling use is incorporating images, screen shots and other rich media into my blog posts. I have written a quick 'how to' as a resource for the Horizon Project VCOP.
