I'm getting carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand tomorrow at 7:30 AM. I know it's supposed to be routine, but it makes me anxious anyway. I'm right handed, I make my living using a computer keyboard, and I'm also a semi-professional musician. Using the keyboard should work after a day or two, but playing the guitar will have to wait a few weeks -- I just hope it improves my facility and doesn't create a new impairment.
