I don't have a lot of time right now, and I'm still processing it, but: my birth mother found me tonight.
Actually, it was a collaboration of my birth mother, half-sisters, and a friend of theirs. The fact that a few years back, my wife registered with ALMA and similar organizations was also crucial, as was, apparently, the Internet.
I'll blog more on this as I get permission to reveal details and as the spirit moves me. Naturally, I'm very excited, and thrilled to discover that my family is even bigger than I realized.
