Whew, I'm back.
I met my birth mother, my sisters, in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews... we had a big family reunion. I went with Canon ZR-40 in hand. I still need to transfer and edit all the material, and get it out to family members. I won't be posting any of it publicly in the interest of everyone's privacy.
I had a wonderful time. My new family and my birth mother's husband's family (is "step in-laws" a useful phrase? Nah; they're all family) are terrific people, and I had a wonderful time. I can't wait to do it again!
