Browser report: Mac OS X doesn't yet have a Web browser that matches the performance and compatibility of Windows browsers. The development of IE for OS X seems stalled, although it's the only only that works with some obnoxiously over-designed sites (for example www.suunto.com). Chimera, the new Gecko-based OS browser, is still too fragile, although fast. OmniWeb still looks the best and is quite stable, although way too slow. I've just downloaded OmniWeb 4.1.1b1, which feels significantly faster and works better with some sites (including cnn.com). There's some hope. 2:20:40 PM
