John S Rhodes: Google Audio Search...: "John S Rhodes: Google Audio Search." (Via Scripting News.) The question is not whether it can be done. We have been able to index and search spoken content through automatic transcription reasonably well for at least five years. Compaq/HP Labs developed a pretty good demo of this kind of technology a few years ago.
