Officials Say Most Can Skip Flu Vaccine (AP): "Public health officials say Americans should roll up their sleeves for a dose of reality: For most of us, getting a flu shot is not a life-or-death matter." (Via Yahoo! News - Top Stories.) It may not be life-or-death for an individual, but it might be for the people they meet, or the people who meet the people they meet. The bureaucrats dismissing the problem in this article don't even mention the problem of contagion. It is also startling that these supposed experts seem to think that death is the only consequence worth bothering about. Many people call ill afford a week off work, so they'll work sick and infect many others. 7:45:32 PM ![]() |
