I'm now leaving the MarsEdit URL field clear to see what happens to the generated RSS item. That was the catch. MarsEdit fills in the field with the original URL when following up on a post from another blog via NetNewsWire, but that's rarely what I mean, since my own post has a comment on the original one. Our friends at IntelliSeek noticed that the link elements in this RSS feed do not link back to the corresponding Web site anchors, but instead to stories I have quoted. This is just a test post to check whether the problem comes from an interaction between MarsEdit, which I use to compose blog entries, and Radio Userland, which I use to post them. 5:09:11 PM
