onwards for the afternoon... on the high end got a date set by a 3rd party to see d, a cto to save from the ceo who's one to believe thinking like that "bin laden causes terror", very little of what they offer is not done better elsewhere. we'll see if he's lost d2's world or if he's as uncomfortable with his ideas as the money men.  gotta put on my tactful head for this intro.

laters, the low end, fix an aikido buddy's isp relation/website hopes/ business plan. then man's wasted a couple of k already and he really can't afford that. getting paid in delicacies. yumm!

afternoon interjected/introduced myself to b, the executive director of a non-profit in my quest of building allies. bullshitted for a while about his totally non tech industry, got past the 'send me a cv and writeup of your past projects' in about 5 minutes, connected some of the dots that came up for him 'i hadn't thought of it that way before- thank you, i'll call you thu to setup a date for coffee'.   1% of moneys paid to the people my thinking affects for the duration of our chats seemed to be aok ok with him. i love consulting! and i love revelaing/painting myself/releating/servicing as a whole person rather than pidgeon holing myself into the geek bin.

the obvious is not what it appears. i get it. they do too. what a relief.

lunch meeting.. spotted two flaws in ceo's thinking, corrected them. man's face lights up, he's jazzed, juiced, rearing to go; then the kicker.. layer on the personal and bingo. he's trembling. bingo. i then bring him back to earth with greater grounding in what he's really about.  check. one more guy who gets it.
