Interesting piece on music and war. A few of the songs are available in sheet music form on the project I just finished: "Over There," "I Didn't Raise My Boy to Be a Soldier," "Let's All Be Americans Now," and "Memphis Blues."
I do need to write this project up in more detail; one of these days. but it's fun to connect an article like this to the actual sheet music. The subject browser at the bottom of each of the pages linked above lets you find similar pieces, and there are a lot more. Fascinating stuff!
