Iraqis Appear to Fire Banned Missiles [AP World News]
The story contains a fair amount of scaremongering, but overlooks what I think is the main point--those missiles are almost completely ineffective. Of course there's also the absurdity of this notion of "banning" the weapons a country owns.

US Irish in St Patrick's Day Iraqi banner outrage. Common sense the first casualty of war [The Register]
Why, then, can these flag-waving Irish Americans not unfurl their banner with pride? Well, the reason is that the said standard carries an outline map of Monaghan, which bears an uncanny resemblance to an outline map of Iraq. Terrifying.
Given that "Irish Americans" have given so much support to the IRA, perhaps this is the long-sought connection between Iraq and terrorism.

Irwin Schiff, Meet Wilhelm Reich. Mr. Irwin "You Don't Have to Pay Income Tax!" Schiff has been ordered to stop telling people that they don't have to pay income tax by a federal judge. Not only that, but he is no longer legally permitted to distribute his book The Federal Mafia. [Hit & Run]
Perhaps someone who owns a copy of the book should scan it and post it on the Internet--preferably on a server physically located outside the US.

War draws condemnation. The US-led attack on Iraq draws condemnation from several countries and sparks protests around the world. [BBC News | Front Page | UK Edition]
Pakistan said it deplored Thursday morning's attack, while India said the attacks were unjustified.
It's pretty impressive when an action is so vile that it can get the Pakistanis and Indians to agree!
