Very impressive work by the Green Berets! In the middle of a war it's really nice to read a story about someone being saved instead of killed.

Jordan Foils Two Iraqi Terror Plots [AP World News]

So far the Iraqis have been living up to the CIA's prediction that a direct threat on his power was the only thing that could get Saddam to use terrorist tactics. However, so far they haven't really amounted to much. Rumsfeld must be so disappointed!

Rumsfeld is acting an awful lot like Robert McNamara. Against Iraq, that will just make the war harder than it should have been. But if Rumsfeld doesn't learn from his mistakes and the government goes ahead with attacks on Syria and Iran, things could get very unpleasant for the US soldiers.
