This is good news! Now all the known prisoners of war have been rescued.

Yahoo News - US troops kill merchant defending shop against looters - can't have that. Not in a "liberated" country. [smith2004] [End the War on Freedom]

When US soldiers approached the area, the looters told them that the shopkeeper was a member of Saddam Hussein's Fedayeen paramilitary force.

I expect there will be many more instances of people using American soldiers as a weapons to further their own interests.

In surprise move, Bush backs renewal of assault weapons ban [Charleston.net]

It's only a surprise to people stupid enough to believe that Bush would protect the Second Amendment, despite all evidence to the contrary. I've seen speculation on various firearms-related web sites as to what he would do, with sensible people pointing out Bush's record, and the Republican drones insisting he would kill the ban. On those same sites, the drones are already trying to deny the reality of this news.
