WHY I HOPE SCHWARZENEGGER LOSES. If there is any hope that Republicans and conservatives will ever learn the importance of principles, Arnold Schwarzenegger will have to lose the race for California governor. At this point, I frankly doubt that Republicans and conservatives will ever appreciate the importance of ideas, but in the faint hope that they may, I now hope Schwarzenegger does lose. What the Republican establishment in California has done to Tom McClintock is a disgrace, and everyone who prematurely jumped on... [The Light of Reason] Although I'm not particularly inclined to vote for McClintock or Schwarzenegger, I've also been pretty disgusted by the behavior of the Republicans. 10:54:26 PM    comment ()
