The hard drive in the PowerMac G4 I use for scanning abruptly lost its partition map just when I had some fairly important scanning to do. As a result I'm temporarily forced to scan using an OS X system.

I continue to be amazed by how unfriendly OS X is. It can't even remember the folder you last saved to!
