A few more telematics companies we've discovered recently

Zandiant Technologies provides Telematics software and hardware development services to automotive customers, including OEMs and system integrators. They are focused on advancing mobile information technologies for portable devices, automotive telematics and multimedia systems.  Formerly a wholly-owned subsidiary of Clarion Co., Ltd., Zandiant plays an instrumental role in the development of In-Vehicle Computing Systems, including the Citroën AutoPC and the forthcoming Clarion Joyride DVD Multimedia & Navigation System. Zandiant clients include Nissan, Volkswagen and numerous tier one automotive suppliers.

MobileWebSurf:  Their product integrates with the existing Telematics platform and location systems, dynamically transforms the information in real-time and delivers it to the dashboard or other handheld device in the car. If the vehicle is in drive mode the driver terminal may only deliver and receive data in audio mode to ensure safety. The visual mode may be automatically activated or presented as an option to the driver.

Televigation:  Televigation's technology enables motion-based and conventional location-based services over standard mobile phones and other mobile devices. We are currently providing conventional location-based services to customers while wireless carriers and others are deploying location determination technologies that will support motion-based services. These technologies are being deployed both to comply with the FCC's e911 mandate and to enable carriers to provide enhanced services.
