RIAA Goes Nuts The solution of death resort...sue your customers. Sue 80+ year old men, and honor students. Paint yourself even further in the corner with your customers. There is nothing like watching an entire industry cut off it's head to make a point. Consumer backlash os a big part of what is driving this whole problem. So what does the industry do? They have decided to simply make matters much worse. At the same time, a decline in CD sales worsened. Between June 15 and August 3, the decline in CD sales accelerated 54 percent. And as of August 3, CD sales were down 9.4 percent over the same period in 2002, according to the Yankee Group. Not a good sign for an industry already reeling from the results of year of excess greed...mj 8:10:03 PM
