I see that there is now a Wikipedia definition of Podcasting.

You ask "How does Podcasting relate/compare to Audioblogging"?

First I'll start by stating they are complimentary.  There will be more cases of using both then not.

Technically, this is the way I see it:  Anytime you link or point to a discrete downloadable MP3 file in a weblog post you are audioblogging. Publish that same MP3 file as an enclosure in an RSS 2.0 enclosure feed and now you are also Podcasting.

It is simply the act of enclosing the MP3 file in the RSS 2.0 feed that enables and most importantly defines the MP3 file to IPodder aggregators as a Podcast.

Base on my definitions you will note that the duration of an audio file and the method of audio production have nothing to do with their differences.

The fact is that most Podcasts today are also Audioblogs.  The artist in this case also uses the audioblog post to promote their audio file through the existing weblog medium.

In reality both of these features are complimentary and necessary.  Eventually these features will become core features of future online audio publishing tools along with other audio features such as audio conferencing.
