Ironclad assurances

Dan Lyke -> from Adam Curry's music licensing discussion -> "I think this is as good a place as any to note that if anyone expects me to use Bit Torrent to download their stuff, they'd better give me some pretty ironclad assurances that all licensing issues have been worked out and that redistribution is legal. Otherwise I'm yet another file sharer helping distribute unlicensed stuff, and while I'm not a great legal mind I think it'd suck to be the test case."

Dan Gillmor -> Radio's Expansive Future "There are great new possibilities, though we'll have to do our part to prevent the established players from thwarting innovation that threatens their business models. Radio is a medium that rewards imagination, and thrives on genuine freedom of speech. The potential profusion of choices will be good for both."
