Time for a bit of a facelift around here - just findling with the design a little... converting things to be more controllable via CSS (yayh!)

My 5th year high school reunion is fast approaching, and one of the main organizers of the reunion is collecting our memories - stories we have from high school.

I thought I'd go the extra mile and post some of them on this blog. First, it's a good, central location for them all - easy to reference, etc etc. Secondly, I though they might be fasinating to some people.

So, I'll try to post a story from high school about every week or so... it'll get me to remember some of this stuff, and maybe it'll be an extra incentive to post on the 'blog more.

There are some days when you get a lot of little things done, but none of those are the things you need to get done.

Had one of those today. This morning I started on a web application project for a client, hoping to get it done to hand off to my co-worker. Except the thing is, I haven't touched that project in about 3 weeks, so I had a really hard time getting back into it.

Only spending like an hour and a half on it didn't help things either. I was working away, then I got distracted by checking stuff into our CVS repository. Stuff that needed to be checked in, of course, but why I picked today to do it is beyond me.

This afternoon was very similar to this morning. I took my lunch break at 1PM, then came back to the office to find Interesting And Important Email in my email box (and the more important things weren't enhancement drugs ;). ) I finally got back on task, and then got distracted again.

I should remember to not take my lunch break sooo late... it just makes the afternoon seem that much shorter (a bad thing).

I call them wrap days because I don't get much done, but I do get stuff I needed to finished "wrapped". Just some days it doesn't feel like it.
