An Entry over at rentzsch.com today rings true to me - nobody except maybe the most basic users will remember the stupid codenames. When those same basic users call up more advanced users for help in 5 years, the tech will scratch his head and think to himself "ok, what was that one?"

Oh yeah, and remember Puma? I thought not.

At least it's better than the iBooks - clamshell, Firewire, mid 2001, late 2001, 14in iBook, mid 2002, Opaque iBook late 2002, early 2003 and finally the current iBook (late 2003).
