h4ck3rc4st #003: Synchronization, Desktops, and Web 2.0
Listening to the Gillmor Gang got me thinking about synchronization: having your data be everywhere, in real time, and all transparent to the user. No file server, no "oh, that's on the other machine...", no hassle.

I talk about what I think is the Achilles' heel of the Web OS (ie: connectivity), but what I like about it (access to your stuff anywhere), and how I think operating system vendors (Apple in particular) could leverage this, adding value to the desktop through the remote access provided by the web (and also make synchronization between devices transparent)
