Woh, SimCity DS = DANGER! Whatever you do, do not buy SimCity DS.
(So says the boi that was barely able to tear himself away from the game at 4am...)
SimCity translates itself to the small screen pretty well, although I found myself doing a lot of zooming to be able to properly place things. Also it's very crowded sometimes, what with all the pallets of tools (but you can - and pretty much have to - hide them and reshow them with a handy little button).
Last SimCity I played was SimCity 2000, and there were a few things missing from this version. On the up-side: you don't have to build pipes explicitly anymore (yay!!!). On the down-side: I can't (seem to) see how many people use my rail system (and I do the "looking for something... don't know what it is I'll know it when I find it... nope, not here" dance a lot.
I'm still at 1910: we'll see if the technology innovations I expect (from SimCity 2000) happen... |
