Today I was at the Apple store and I picked up an AirPort card for the incoming Blueberry iBook. I'm getting excited to be able to WiFi around campus. Unfortunately, they did not offer a student discount. By the time I got back to my apartment, I found that I can purchase Apple stuff through the campus computer store. I would have been able to buy the AirPort card for $93 instead of $99 - about what I paid in taxes on the darn thing.
The Twin Cities Wireless User's Group appears to have a very interesting map of the area, which seems to be the start of a DIY wireless network in the Minneapolis area. Frickin' sweeeeet....
Oh yeah, I'm anxiously awaiting the Cocoon Book to show up. Apparently "date of publishing" really means "date the publisher receives first batch of printed books from the printer," not "date bookstores will have said book in stock" :)
