As everyone is aware (or if anyone outside of NYC cares) the lights are back on in NYC. It is better with electricity. It is no fun without toys to play with. This early to bed and early to rise stuff is boring.

On the way home from work yesterday I walked past a car that had WNBC blaring from its radio. A WNBC person was broadcasting live from Wyckoff Avenue in Brooklyn. She was explaining that there she could see extra police on the streets. She then noted that this was an area of concern and that the shopkeepers were pulling down their grates early. She failed to note that the same thing was happening everywhere in the city because there were no lights and everyone wanted to get home.

I am sure that the TV stations and networks were very disappointed that there was no violence to report.

I work in a doctor's office. There seems to be an upswing in the number of Syphilis cases that are appearing. When there is we must order the treatment. It (see below) has been known to make grown men cry; imagine getting one of those in your tush!
