Another great Mac OS X app that's worth a mention. BatChmod is a simple app that gives you full control over the file permissions and attributes of files and folders in Mac OS X - all without ever visiting Terminal. Most power users agree that this is an indispensable tool.

Also, I'm pretty sure that the developer, Renaud, worked at Apple Canada with me, many years ago. Great app Arby!

ScreenSavers on TechTV last week showed a very cool, fun and addictive Mac OS X game called JewelToy. Megan and Leo even pulled up the source (posted freely by the developer) and showed how simple Cocoa development is with Project Builder and Interface Builder.

JewelToy is a lot of fun. Thanks Giles (auther of JewelToy) and thanks Leo for highlighting cool Mac OS X apps.
