These are partially because Dr. 'Liz asked me about Indian folklore books tonight. I simply don't know of any, probably because I haven't looked very hard. Too many books I have from the subcontinent read like badly translated technical support manuals instead of inspirational prose or something you and your child could curl up in a big chair with.
