Oh, wonderful.  Microsoft Office 97 & 2000 Have A Dirty Little Secret. If you are using Microsoft Office 97 or 2000, every file you create is stamped with a Globally Unique Identifier (GUID). This number matches the MAC address of your Ethernet card. It is unique to each and every ethernet card ever made. This means that every file you create can be traced back to you. [Advogato]

Yet another thing I need to find time to do!  Updates. I spent some time this evening updating my blogroll. If your name is missing, take no offence, I still have many more to blogs to add. As regards blogroll formatting, mine is riddled with inconsistencies. I'm torn between following Mike Sanders' practice of referring to bloggers by name or, alternatively, respecting the soubriquets that many bloggers have adopted. Regard it as a work in progress, in need of constant improvement. Advise me where necessary (you should know by now I respond positively to negative feedback).  [Jonathon Delacour]
