Oll Korrect
Google is so cool. I was around avaiation for most of the day. As is common in certain industries [or perhaps all of them] particular language and vocabulary is used. Think of terms like "Roger" and "Wilco". I pondered about "OK", thinking it had to be related to a military procedure or nautical confirmation.
Google to the rescue!
"It seems to have come from the misspelling of "all correct." This misspelling was used first in 1839 by a group called the Anti-Bell-Ringing Society in Boston. They facetiously changed "all correct" to "oll korrect," and used it as a signal term." [Adam Curry: Adam Curry's Weblog]
