Storyboard Art 001
I'm trying to imagine using Citizen Dog as a storyboard for animations. There are so many challenges, but the first one is picking the cream of the crop from the entire season.
Questions and thoughts...
1. how long to make the two characters?
2. how to build the set
3. how to position the characters on the set
4. push the camera forward from frame 1 to 2
5. cut to color splash in panel 3, denotes boasting (?)
6. cut to panel 4, as mel raises up on his elbows
7. cut to panel 5, mel gets up and walks down (very quick)
8. cut to panel 6, slow pull back from fergus, he says his line, and we continue to pull back as...
9. face to credits
10. need a series sound blurb (ala Cheers, Seinfeld, et al)
11. need a quick intro. deep voice, "CITIZEN" metal crash on screen, "DOG" metal crash on screen (very fast!)
12. cartoon renderers - check the OpenGL site?
