Australians will laugh, but this spider was pretty big for Ben Lomond.
Its web is right above our outdoor trash can, so when I go out there at
night to dump stuff, I have to remember not to lean in too close to the web.
In the pictures with the pencil, yes, I grabbed a pencil and just stuck it onto the web,
and it hung there until the spider came back out to sit in the center of the web.
