Beamish
In our
two or three
backpacking trips
last year and the year before, Turly mentioned
Beamish Stout more than a few times.
It's brewed in his home town, Cork.
I hadn't had the chance to try it.
But ... they had a keg of it at
Highlands Park yesterday,
where the
Highlands Games
were held.
It's a creamy stout, not too bitter. Good enough that I had three of them
over the course of the afternoon.
Jim, Marina, and I walked home from the park, while Deb drove Mary & Marty home.
