Act Accordingly.

Dean gave me a copy of the following, although he didn't note where he got it (one of yesterday's newspapers?):

"Starting this month, four major credit card bureaus in the United States will be allowed to release credit information, mailing addresses, phone numbers and other information to anyone who requests it, according to the Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs.

If you do not want to be included in this release of your personal information, you can call (888) 567-8688. Once the message starts, you will want option 2, then option 3. Be sure to listen closely; the first option is only for a two-year period. Wait for the third option, which opts you out forever.

You should receive paperwork in the mail confirming your instructions less than one week after making the call."

Process logging?.

Brett Morgan is talking about KM and blogging integration (k-logging) being the next wave of tools.   You bet.  Or rather I bet.  I'm betting the farm on it.

Here's a thing...  How about process-logging.

Every workflow process produces an RSS output stream commenting on the state of the process and events that occur.  If you're interested in how the process is going you subscribe.

Are any of the open source workflow packages looking at RSS integration?

Budgeting is good for the soul. Budgeting is good for the soul..

Budgeting is good for the soul.

Bad VC market a good time to start a company:. "...while capital is scarce and returns on venture investments have never been poorer, the track record from previous downturns suggests that conditions for building a solid start-up may be the best they have been in years." [evhead]

Hey Mike, maybe doing the company thing isn't so stupid after all. You learn how to run a company on a tight budget! :) [Brett Morgan's Insanity Weblog]

True enough mate, true enough.

The next time you're grumbling with a fellow Entrepreneur about ungrateful employees, chiseling customers and high tax rates, take a moment to share a happier bit of news: how you recently made your business more efficient, because efficient Entrepreneurs survive in tough times.  # [John Henry on Business]
