I started on a new project, somewhat suddenly, just yesterday. One of the benefits of working for a large company is that you can pretty easily move to another place if things are not working out in the present situation. About the same time I decided that I needed a change somebody else decided they might need my services. So today I find myself working in South Barrington, IL - just minutes away from home - on an exciting new project. After 20 years of a 14 mile/17 stop light commute I am pretty excited to: a) be only 10 minutes from home; b) have only two stop lights on my drive; c) be driving South Barringtons rural back-roads the whole way in. The only down-side I have identified so far is that many of my choices for restaurants at lunch time are the same places I often take my family for dinner. I do not want to burn out on some of my favorites - Macaroni Grill and Millrose. 4:02:12 PM Google It! |
