Nielsen/NetRatings says that Mac users are smarter than PC users. ::sigh:: As if being dashing, handsome, and athletic weren't enough to deal with, I find there's also the statistical likelihood that I'm better educated and make more money than the average PC user.

Seriously though, is anyone really surprised? First off, formal education does not necessarily translate to intelligence... most of the headlines surrounding this survey are along the lines of the above... "Mac users outsmart PC users" is the ZDNet version. That's just stupid. It's *all* about level of formal education and the higher incomes that usually follow. You'll find similar breakdowns for BMW owners vs. GM owners. Macs command a premium; always have.
