2003 Denver Mayoral Election
Sue Casey, candidate for Mayor, has been driving some of the debate in the mayoral election this year. In today's Rocky Mountain News they feature her call to remove the position of Manager of Safety and move the Intelligence gathering out of the Police department.
Interesting ideas both. Many people would like to move political appointees out of key positions in city administration. I wonder if this would lead to a special access to the mayor's chief of staff?
