2004 Presidential Election

Here's an analysis of the primary selection process along with candidate issues and strategies for next spring from the Denver Post, [August 19, 2003, "Three acts bring drama to primaries"] From the article, "No doubt they had good reasons. But the grim truth is that Colorado's political leaders have stiffed the state's political junkies by putting its delegate selection process at the tail end of the presidential primary calendar. Not so our neighbors to the south, where Arizona and New Mexico and Oklahoma are bidding to be players in the naming of the Democratic presidential nominee. They have given the West, and especially its Hispanic voters, a piece of the action."
