2004 Presidential Election

Diane Carman weighs in on the irrelevance of Colorado in Presidential politics (except as a place to raise money of course) in her column in the Denver Post [August 31, 2003, "State again an outsider in 2004 vote"]. According to Carman, "Your vote may count in a U.S. Senate race, the occasional competitive House of Representatives contest and certainly in most local elections. But when it comes to picking a president or influencing the selection of a nominee, voters here are irrelevant."

Here's an article from the Scripps Howard News Service [August 31, 2003, "Before they were candidates: The politicians' past jobs"] containing a short profile of the main candidates in the Presidential race covering the past jobs of each of the candidates. Thanks to NHPrimary.com for the link.

The Daily Kos has results from a recent CBS News national poll on the race for the Democratic nomination.
