2004 Presidential Election

Taegan Goddard: "President Bush is putting ads on in Louisiana and Colorado this week, 'following rival John Kerry's decision to launch TV commercials in the two GOP-friendly states,' the AP reports."

Political wire is also reporting that the "Ten Commandments Judge," Roy Moore of Alabama may mount a run at President Bush from the right.

Update: Taegan Goddard: "If the election were today, Bush would edge Kerry 46% to 42%. 'Ralph Nader could play a major role in deciding the election... Nader polled 5 percent in the new survey, more than the margin between the two major candidates.' The poll had a 3 percentage-point margin of sampling error."

Update: Political Wire: "Bush approval sinks."

Update: The latest RasmussenReports.com national poll shows Senator Kerry holding on to a slim lead over President Bush, 47 to 43.
