Colorado Water Here's an article about funding for the Animas-La Plata Water Project from the Cortez Journal. From the article, "It's too early to tell how cost overruns for the Animas-La Plata Project and federal budget cuts will affect the construction schedule for the long-awaited project. But supporters aren't waiting to see what Congress will do in the years to come when it comes to funding it. While those supporters aren't too concerned that Congress only appropriated $47 million for the project this year after the Bureau of Reclamation had asked for $58 million they are wondering what that reduction and the $162.1 million cost in overruns will do to the construction schedule." 8:46:33 PM
