Denver Water is opening wastewater recycling plant next month, according to the Rocky Mountain News [January 28, 2004, "Hope floats in recycled water"]. From the article, "When Denver Water cranks open the valves at its new recycling plant next month, the largest water-reuse effort in the state will be under way. Xcel Energy is the first in line to receive the reclaimed wastewater, using it - instead of untreated South Platte River water - to cool its Cherokee Power Plant in Adams County."
