Denver November 2004 Election

Today's issue of the North Denver Tribune lays out all the details for the Colorado Caucuses this spring. Coloradans will go to caucus to select delegates to county and state assembly. April 13th is the big day.

Last day to register: February 13th.

Locations to register: any Motor Vehicle Office; Social Services locations; Clerk and Recorder. You can also register by mail using a postcard registration application, according to the Tribune.

Denver November 2004 Election

Two proposed constitutional amendments aimed at TABOR moved ahead on Wednesday towards appearing on the November ballot, according to the Denver Post [February 5, 2004, "Changes to TABOR move ahead at hearing"]. From the article, "An effort to loosen state constitutional spending restrictions took its first step Wednesday toward November's ballot. Two proposed constitutional amendments drafted by the Bell Policy Center, a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank, moved forward during a formal hearing in the secretary of state's office."
