Denver November 20004 Election
The state Democratic party has nominated Jennifer Mello to run for the At-large seat for C.U. Regent, according to the Denver Post [August 22, 2004, "Dems tap House analyst for CU regent race"]. From the article, "Mello, 33, is the policy director in the state House Democratic office. She will square off this November against Louisville Republican Steven Bosely, a retired banker and founder of the Bolder Boulder foot race. Both hope to fill the slot vacated by former Regent Jim Martin, who easily won the Democratic primary this month but declined to go forward to the statewide vote."
