Not any more: While I was driving back from Palo Alto to Santa Barbara yesterday, astonished as usual by the lack of useful radio along the way, I thought I'd look into signing up for Sirius Satellite Radio once its bird goes live from the sky. I'd consider XM, except that XM has no NPR and I heard that Sirius will. But now it looks like Sirius has made itself an enemy of wireless Net access, which matters far more than either service.
