My sister, Su, is a therapist who specializes in the treatment of sex offenders. She has said many of her clients seem to have a special tendency not to take responsibility for their actions. From today's Bangor Daily news: A convicted sex offender escapes into the Maine woods. It's winter, and it's Maine, so he loses a couple of toes to frostbite while hiding. His response? Sue the detective, of course. "If he had done his job properly I wouldn't be in the condition I'm in right now. I would have been in jail that very same day."
