software in cooperation with China and South Korea to make Asian
economies less dependent on Microsoft Corp.'s Windows operating system,

Sony to launch Net music service. [News.com]
Worth a read if you're interested in the iTunes Music Store and its
future competitors. It looks like Sony plans to do exactly the kind of
combined hardware-software play that Apple has in mind and has in fact
already begun. Sony's is due to be released next year.
