I do NOT hate to say I told you so
Handspring to developers: Remain calm. Despite announcing plans to eventually exit the traditional handheld organizer market, Handspring is trying to reassure developers it is not doing so anytime soon.
Now, they start backpedaling all over the place...What a joke!

I've always thought that mergers and acquisitions create problems for companies, unless the acquirer is a giant, the clash of culture will create enough problems to, at least, slow the company down. Witness Compaq or, even, Palm.
